We had so much fun chatting with you at the Welsh Dragon after our screening of Ringo Lam’s City on Fire that we’ve decided to keep the party going throughout 2026.
Our monthly events have been scheduled to coincide with some of our shorter films and other special occasions. We have reserved an area at the Welsh Dragon for WFS members from 7.30pm each time. This will allow some members to come along after the 6pm screening and others to pop in before the 8.30pm screening.
These dates are as follows:

- 11 May – Joy House
- 8 June – Phantom of the Paradise
- 13 July – Evil Does Not Exist
- 3 August – Mississippi Masala
- 14 September – The Philadelphia Story
- 12 October – Letter Never Sent
- 2 November – Lake Mungo
- 7 December – Vertigo
This will be an opportunity to grab some kai and wai and have a yarn with other members. We may also use some of our get-togethers as an opportunity to host presentations, quizzes or other events so make sure to check out the newsletter for more information!
