Unity Books have established themselves as Wellington’s pre-eminent and favourite bookstore since opening in Willis Street (a few doors down from their current address) in 1967. Winners of the NZ Bookseller of the Year award in 2022, they have sponsored a film from our programme since 2018.

We greatly appreciate this support in helping us screen such highly-rated films as The Selfish Giant, The Virgin Suicides, God’s Own Country, Orlando, Nashville and in 2023 – The Wicker Man. In 2024 they are sponsoring Tarkovsky’s classic Sci Fi film, Solaris.
