Our full 2024 schedule is now live. New additions include films from the French New Wave (thanks to Institut Francais and The Embassy of France for three great films in the French Connections series), psychological horrors, two films from Ukranian auteur Kira Muratova, more Carol Reed, some great World cinema, and a comedic look at a very young Nicolas Cage.
We are also announcing two screenings in association with the Derek Jarman: Delphinium Days exhibition — Ken Russell’s The Devils, and Derek Jarman’s daring, queer, anachronistic adaptation of, Christopher Marlowe’s play Edward II.
Earlier, we announced some brilliant classic films including Solaris (thanks to our sponsor Unity Books) and the wonderful 1951 Best Picture – All About Eve.
We’re bringing you more films than usual this year — a total of 37 films, plus a second screening of Barry Lyndon after our break for the NZ Film festival in August. Check out the full schedule here.
